H2O Radio Partners
H2O Radio Collaborative Partners
The One World One Water (OWOW)
The One World One Water (OWOW) Center at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU) and H2O Radio have formed a partnership to help one another reach broader audiences and bring attention to important water issues.
OWOW is a collaboration between MSU and Denver Botanic Gardens to leverage the strength of each institution to more broadly address water and environmental concerns in communities near and far.
Together H2O Radio and OWOW will create learning opportunities for students and faculty, explore joint funding ventures, engage wider audiences, and bring attention to important environmental subjects. One of our first collective efforts will be to establish a work-study opportunity for MSU Denver students with H2O Radio to learn the ins-and-outs of journalism and management.
H2O Radio Distribution Partners
H2O Radio stories can be heard on numerous community and public radio stations around the country. In addition, we are proud to have the following partners carrying H2O Radio content:
Patch is built on local. As a network located in more than 1,200 communities across the country, Patch is dedicated to making sure that people know what’s happening where they live. Through staff-reported local news to job listings, classified ads, event postings, user generated content, and stories from our partners, Patch keeps people informed. In 2019, recognizing that the local news landscape is changing, Patch started a partnership program aimed at providing a wider audience for other news organizations. Program members include H2O Radio, the Texas Tribune, The Marshall Project, Chalkbeat, Kaiser Health News, and Consumer Reports.
AP StoryShare Colorado is comprised of over 100 COLab media partners across Colorado, including H2O Radio, which are sharing their content and coverage plans using AP StoryShare, a tool developed by the Associated Press to enable stronger collaboration and foster local news. The project is supported by the Google News Initiative.
Rocky Mountain Community Radio (RMCR)
Rocky Mountain Community Radio is a coalition of non-commercial radio stations in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Many member stations broadcast features produced by H2O Radio as well as our newscast, "This Week in Water."
